Mission Statement

The aim of our project is to combine philanthropy with adventure.  By cycling 2000 miles across four countries in Asia - southern China, Vietnam, Laos and ending in Cambodia - we plan to raise enough money for the construction of an elementary school in the rural Gansu province of China.  If successful, our ultimate goal, however lofty an aspiration, is to make the cycling trip an annual event in hopes that we can add at least one more school to our world each year, hence the name Cycling+1.
